Once I was listening a Garhwali Song and I thought of playing that song on my Guitar. I picked up my guitar and started finding the chords. Being a beginner I didn’t know the correct Chords progression so I start looking for it in the Web. After a result less surfing of few hours, I was highly disappointed that not even a single Website, Blog or forum comes up which provide Chords or Tabs for the Garhwali Song.
So I decided to launch a Blog where I can put the Chords and Tabs of Some Garhwali Song. This blog will be dedicated to Garhwali music and Garhwali Culture. Now if we talk about the Music its fine, But why did I mention culture. What I think is that Culture is the invisible bond, which ties the people of a community together. It refers to the pattern of human activity. The art, literature, language, religion and the most important The MUSIC of a community represent the community’s culture.
Culture is directly related to the development of one’s attitude. One’s culture plays an important role in shaping the principles of the individual’s life. Culture is strengthened in this way because it can give background and reference to its later generations of its ability of keeping the long-term tradition, gaining the sense of belonging of people to the country of that culture.
